I'm Asher Cross — author, designer, and full-time overthinker turned storyteller. My writing walks the line between raw emotion and the kind of humor you need to survive it. I believe stories should feel like real life: messy, unexpected, sometimes painful, but always worth the ride.

When I'm not writing, you'll probably find me in the kitchen, experimenting with recipes I swear I'll remember later (I never do), or spending time with friends who've long since become family. They keep me grounded, laughing, and occasionally remind me that sarcasm doesn't count as a love language — though I'd argue otherwise.

I live in a small rural area in the middle of nowhere in Texas with my husband, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and chickens that I never planned on, where the quiet gives me space to write, dream, and plot my next project — which might be another heartfelt novel… or a full-blown parody of a Hallmark movie. Life's about balance, right?

I love any person who claims to be a fan, but more importantly, if you ever need someone to talk to, never hesitate to message me. It might take me a while to get back — but I promise I will.
